Hello Seth Godin readers!

This summer, I had the opportunity to work online with Seth Godin and a team of brilliant young professionals. But you already know that.

What you don’t know was that this group of people were my motivators to start writing; if you look back through this blog’s archives, the first post was meant to “catch up” on the time I had lost (and which my peers had been using to their full advantage).

Two Notes Ahead has changed from what I originally intended it to be. I used to write about music industry related news, but I quickly became disenchanted after always being scooped, and rarely being able to add anything productive to the conversation (aside from the occasional fresh point-of-view).

Now, I aim to write about ideas that will make you think. Ideas that will serve you in some way. Ideas that will change your life — or at least your perspective on it. In fact, it was my experience with this blog that prompted me to write this post.

Enjoy the archives for what they are, but content similar to my last two posts (and my page in the PDF) are the future of this blog.

(Confused? Check out Seth’s original post here, and the PDF featuring myself and 15 of my wonderful colleagues here. If you don’t care to download the full document, I will be posting my article tomorrow, and returning to new material on Wednesday)
